ADORABLE & INSPIRING Enrichment!
Local author Maureen Harrington and her pup Ivy read their inspiring children's book about overcoming life's challenges and finding your inner strength. Ivy, the bravest French Bulldog became suddenly paralyzed in her back legs at the age of three. That has not stopped Ivy from living life to her absolute fullest (with the help of her wheels)! Ivy reminds us to never give up, and always keep on rolling!

ATLANTIC WHITE SHARK CONSERVANCY
The PTO was thrilled to fund the 3rd grade field trip to Plimoth Patuxet in February 2023. Students learned what life was like in 1627 for the Pilgrims and the Wampanoags. They used a two person saw to cut logs, visited with Mistress Winslow to learn about life in the village, learned about games that Wampanoags would play and learned about life inside a Wetu during the winter for Wampanoag children.
Following their field trip, our third graders got a Plimoth Patuxet’s Museum Educators visit at Hatherly on 2/16. The educators visit classrooms where they help students explore intertwined cultures, investigate changing landscapes, and understand 17th-century worldviews through immersive hands-on experiences.
