Welcome/introductions

§ Being used to discuss proper lunchroom etiquette, getting to and from the bus, etc

§ This month’s theme is trust and being trustworthy
§ Smiles go along with the month’s theme
§ Celebration of excellence
· Teachers gave names of children to celebrate
o About 20 kids total
o Will do more at future meetings
§ Peer survey is happening for 4th and 5th graders
· Parents have been given an opt out email
· Very broad questions
o Social and emotional well being

§ Greg Zuckerman asked if students can bring their own chromebook (was also brought up last meeting)

o Last month it was voted and approved to combine several line items into one line item to give teachers/staff a better ability to use the month
o The application was presented that staff can use to apply for grants
§ Range from $25-$1,000
§ Will be presented at staff meeting next week
o It was stressed that all staff members can apply for grants not just teachers

o Going to create emails for each PTO position

o No holiday fair this year due to covid
o Instead going to do crafts the week leading up to winter break

o Family shopping room will happen during school days
o It was asked if we could decorate

· CORSE has reached out to have the elementary school PTOs cover the costs to the agendas for 5th graders
o Will cost roughly $100
o Did not seem to be a concern to anyone
o This will be for next school year
